 ZarosZaros is a village in the Heraklion regional unit, Crete, Greece. Since the 2011 is part of the municipality Faistos, of which it is a municipal unit. Located at the southern foothills of Mount Psiloritis and at an altitude of 340 metres, there is a lake and gorge nearby. The village has a couple of hotels and the distance from/to Heraklion is 44km. The exact time when the olives should be harvested is a matter of experience. Olives that are picked too soon may contain no oil. Olives contain oil soon after they have turned a light green color. |

Guests
Guests can visit our factory for free and explore our olive oil extraction and bottling facilities. You can also walk around our garden with our herbs and trees and learn about them.
Inside our factory is a shopping corner where guests can try our products free of charge with no obligation to buy.
Our factory is open continuously from March to October, 09.00 to 20.00 daily. If you would like to visit us during the rest of the year (November to February), please contact us before your arrival in order to arrange your visit.
